Bread Tasting

I went to a local Atlanta hotel (4 star) on Thursday to taste bread. That shouldn’t be so hard – I am doing a function there next week and I am tired of not liking the bread that hotels put on sandwiches. Why people don’t get the key to a good sandwich is GOOD BREAD. The tasting went well I tried about 5 different types of bread to pick out the exact one I wanted for my sandwiches next week. The winne was a crusty but not “bready” long French baguette. Technicaly the type of bread you see in New Orleans.  What I couldn’t deal with is a Thick Foccacia that isn’t a good bread for sandwiches or a sourdough roll way too much bread.  Stay tuned and I will let you know how it all works out next week.

This is my story for now and I am sticking to it.
